Caleb:
It has been a busy fall. Caleb, you are involved in flag football and soccer. You were unsure about going out for flag football but we encouraged you to try it. You LOVE it and are very good at it. Now you really enjoy watching football on television and are learning all the rules. As usual you are all about numbers and love figuring out the point spread between teams and looking at the rankings. You have had a great soccer season as well and as usual are one of the fastest on your team. It's so fun watching you compete in sports. You definitely have my competitiveness and like to win but you understand you are going to lose some games as well. Caleb, you remain a great friend and easily make friends with new people. Your teacher this year also mentions that you enjoy talking. It is hard to fault this when you have a twin sister who talks all the time at home, meaning you are forced to be quiet. You are still a good eater but have become a bit pickier at the time has gone by. You love snuggles at night and your back scratched. Every evening you like to compare the number of steps mom and dad got each day compared to you. We love having you as a son and are enjoying watching you grow in to a very special individual.

Lauren:
Lauren, you remain active in gymnastics and this year decided to try dance. You are just doing hip hop but are loving it. You have always loved to dance so I'm excited to see if you continue to like dance. You are constantly flipping around the living room and doing gymnastics because you have so much energy. Your sassiness has continued to grow as you still remain quite sensitive. I think the tears are MAYBE reducing a bit but dang they are still present quite.a.lot! I just think you are an overly sensitive person but now that you are seven we are trying to help you learn that crying is not going to get you what you want and neither is whining. It's a no whine house! Your teacher this year did not mention that you are a chatter box at school which is good but she did say you are a good friend. We have always known this to be true. Your taste buds are often different than you brother and sister's but for the most part you are easy to please as well.
We love watching you play with Parker and your excitement every time you see him. Lauren, you have a special little voice you use when you talk to him, and Caleb, you nicknamed him Fluffy and now many of the neighbors call him that.
